Alpha583CX Cash Management System

The Alpha583CX has a heavy-duty thermal printer and will perform all of your cash management needs. Accounting software and bar code scanner optional.

• 99 Departments for sales analysis by category of merchandise. Program each department with a 16 character name or description; set for taxable or non-taxable items. Preset department pricing for quick, one-key sales entry
• 1000 Price-Look-Ups (PLU) for quick, accurate entry of frequently sold items. Each PLU can be assigned a 12 character name. PLU reports print sales activity of each PLU
• Heavy-Duty Thermal Printer printer allows both alpha and numeric characters to be programmed to print on customer receipts or journal tapes. Thermal printer is fast and quiet. Uses 2 1/4" (57mm) thermal paper. 
• Serial connection to connect the register to your PC or bar code scanner. Optional software includes a filter that downloads your end of day report totals directly to your QuickBooks Pro or Peachtree accounting programs
• Scrolling Messages for as many as 5 different text messages up to 42 characters each to scroll across the customer display at various times.
• Alpha Display has alphanumeric 1 line operator and 1 line customer display. Alpha display shows item descriptions during sales registration, scrolling text messages and alphanumeric prompts in program mode for easy set-up
• 26 Clerk ID System can program each clerk with a 24 character name or description
• Alpha Keyboard cuts programming time in half. Department keys are labeled with the letters needed to program the descriptions for PLU's, departments, clerks and various messages

Optional accounting software by RegisterLink:

• Program most of your cash register data on your PC, for easy entry using your standard PC keyboard and screen; then download all the programming from your PC to the cash register via the included serial connection
• Quickbooks and Peachtree Compatibility: Download your end-of-day X and Z report totals from the cash register into your PC and automatically import the information into your Quickbooks or Peachtree accounting packages
• Back-up and Restore: Back-up your cash register programming and store the data on your PC. Should you lose the register's memory, you can simply restore the data from your PC back to the register without having to re-program all the PLU's, departments and other data
• Additional registers: When you buy additional registers, you can use the back-up and restore feature with multiple registers of the same model number.
